We are fanatical about food. We’re different that way. Whether we’re making a vitamin, a probiotic, or a protein powder, we always start with real foods.
Your body was created to eat, process, and derive its nutrition from food— real, healthy food. So, when we create our products, we start by looking at food. What is the “good stuff” in the highest quality food that we are missing in our diets? Which of those foods have the greatest potential to impact— and empower—extraordinary health?
Traceability is key to what makes Garden of Life’s® products so special. Traceability starts with knowing where each and every ingredient in our products comes from and getting to know each and every source: where it’s grown; the farming practices; how they pay and treat the farm workers—everything.
We start with what goes IN our products—true, whole food ingredients. But we don’t stop there. We also pay very close attention to what we keep OUT of them. And once again, we look at food—real nutrition food. When was the last time you picked up an apple, turned to read the ingredients, and saw a list of chemicals? If it’s not in your food, then we don’t want it in our supplements.

As with any dietary supplement, consult your healthcare practitioners using their product, especially if you are pregnant, anticipate surgery, take medication on a regular basis or are otherwise under medical supervision

“My OB-Gyn referred me to her as I was getting worryingly obsessed with trying to conceive with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS): she told me Sonia would help me calm down and optimize my fertility. She turned me from a demoralized, hopeless wreck into a brave, sexy, fertility goddess. I now have a 3-month-old, healthy, happy baby: what else could I ask for?”
“When I started with you, my period was missing in action for 2 years. My doctors just recommended donor eggs. Well, at the beginning of 2020, I started the Hormone Puzzle and after 2 months, I started spotting. And today, I am 5 weeks pregnant. Thank you so much for the guidance and information you give with your coaching.”
“Navigating the fertility space after multiple losses can be a really anxious experience and fear is a major component. Working with Kela has given me peace now that I am expecting. She’s attentive, provides regular physical AND emotional wellness checks, and has given me access to meal plans and dietary guidance that is crucial to the health of this pregnancy.”
“I loved working with Coach Kela. She has a wealth of information to help women who are trying to get pregnant. She is very helpful. I thought I was eating healthy but eating for fertility is a completely different ballgame. Thank you coach for all your help!”
“Because of coach Kela, I am pregnant after 4 years of trying. All I did was implement her easy to follow recipes and meal plans and adopted the hormone puzzle method and bam - pregnant.”
“I met her when I was demoralized after 3 OB-Gyn’s diagnosing me with infertility, due to extremely poor egg quality. Sonia took me under her wing for a magical journey to fertility, empowerment, and trust. I got pregnant naturally 5 months after working with her, and I can say hands down that I owe her this baby.” ”
“I had 5 viable eggs left and IVF was my last chance to get pregnant. Sonia helped design tailor-made diets to boost both my eggs and his sperm quality, she designed a yoga + meditation program and took us both through a self-discovery, empowering journey. Not only did we get pregnant with twins, but we also rediscovered a passionate love for each other! ”

Research studies have shown that good nutrition and lifestyle habits may enhance fertility. Our bodies need certain vitamins and minerals to stay healthy. This includes the parts of the body responsible for reproduction. The food we eat and the beverages we drink can affect overall health. In both men and women, a diet high in unsaturated fats, vegetables, whole grains, and fish has been associated with enhanced fertility. Research has also shown that men and women who consume high levels of sugars and fat may have lower fertility rates.
Learn more about the relationship between hydration and fertility, beverages to include and exclude from your diet. Track your hydration level, participate in live group classes, or consult with our nutritionists, all right in the Fertilligence app.
Water is a crucial nutrient and a key to the functioning of each system in our body. A human can live for more than three weeks without food, but would not last for more than a few days without water. Water also plays an important role in processes that affect fertility such as transporting hormones, developing egg follicles, promoting proper semen volume and quality. Not drinking enough water can lead to dehydration, which may affect fertility. There is a large variety of beverages we consumer daily, such as seltzer, herb-infused water, teas, coffee, naturally sweetened drinks such as coconut water and freshly made vegetable and fruit juices, sports and energy drinks, smoothies, alcoholic beverages. Yet, some beverages could have a negative effect on our hormonal balance and contribute to infertility.
Learn more about the relationship between exercise and fertility, then jump into an on-demand or live group class directly in the Fertilligence app. Then, working one-on-one with your fertility coach, build out a workout regimen you love to boost your fertility!
Exercise plays an important role in fertility. Regular physical activity helps to balance hormones (e.g. androgen) and decrease inflammation while helping control blood sugar, supporting a healthy weight, and relieving stress. All of these factors play important roles in fertility. Moderate exercise typically produces the best results for women trying to conceive.
Learn more about the connection between sleep and fertility, as well as techniques to improve your sleep in Fertilligence App. Talk to our fertility coaches or attend our live group classes to help implement the sleep techniques that will work for you.
Not getting enough sleep may change your hormonal balance. In women, this may disrupt menstrual cycles and ovulation, and in men, reduce sperm quality and quantity. Insufficient sleep is also linked to other fertility-disrupting lifestyle factors, such as weight gain, excessive caffeine consumption, high-stress levels, and tension with family, friends, or co-workers. Sleep deprivation has also been shown to reduce testosterone levels.
Learn more about most common vitamins and minerals, typical dosages, and contraindications from the proprietary research on Fertilligence app that is developed for most common infertility conditions (e.g. PCOS, Endometriosis) or generally healthy adults. Layer in live group classes, one-on-one appointments with Fertilligence nutrition specialists, supplements tracker plus the ability to order a variety of hypoallergenic supplements delivered right to your door.
Nutrients are essential to your health. While it’s best to get them from food, even the most balanced diet can lack certain vitamins and minerals. There are many supplements on the market right now that can address any deficiencies and boost your chances of conceiving. The key, though, is in understanding your unique needs and your partner’s unique needs and, from there, find the right supplements to accelerate your fertility journey.
With the Fertilligence app, you’ll learn more about the connection between stress and fertility. Through fertility coaching, live group classes, on-demand yoga and meditation, you’ll learn to curb anxiety and cope with day-to-day stress the way it works for you.
Women with higher stress levels took 29% longer to get pregnant compared to those who had less. Stress is your body's reaction to a perceived threat, challenge or scare. Chronic, high stress levels can negatively affect health and fertility and can lead to less-than-optimal habits such as increased alcohol use, less restorative sleep, decreased exercise, a weakened immune system as well as sadness, anxiety and irritability, making it harder to connect with your partner. Chronic stress can also affect hormone levels including FSH and LH, which can impact testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone. This, then, can have a negative effect on ovulation and sperm production.
Through one-on-one coaching in the Fertilligence app, you’ll learn more about the relationship between mood and fertility as well as the steps and techniques you can use to stay positive. Ongoing live group classes directly in the app can also help boost your mood and alleviate anxiety.
The mind-body connection is an important part of the fertility journey. Your thoughts can impact your emotions, which directly impact your body. The majority of people who struggle with infertility experience a range of emotions including sadness, anxiety, irritability, jealousy, isolation, and loneliness. Although it may feel impossible to maintain a positive attitude, decreasing those feelings can help improve your chances of conception. Research shows that overcoming negative thoughts can be beneficial in the fertility process.
Using the Fertilligence app and attending personalized coaching sessions together will help you and your partner better connect and get in-step on your shared fertility journey. Fertilligence was designed to support both partners in this journey, with tools, classes, insights and coaching designed to improve your well-being as individuals and as a couple.
